Duo Amie hosted and organized a month long winter clothing drive and a Benefit concert supporting the non-profit organization Cradles to Crayons (https://www.cradlestocrayons.org). Cradles to Crayons is a local non-profit organization providing children living in low-income and homeless situations with the essentials they need to thrive. Since its founding in 2002, Cradles to Crayons has provided key basics of life free of charge to needy children from newborns up to age 12. These include clothing, toys, school supplies, and more. Duo Amie was proud to partner with Cradles to Crayons to support their work, and in particular to raise awareness of their fall 2016 “Gear up for Winter” drive. The concert profits were donated to Cradles to Crayons, and the clothing drive yielded over 14 large bags of donated clothing.
